GWRC Award winner Dr Martha Sinclair and GWRC chair Dr Mike Farrimond
From the start of the GWRC in 2002, Martha has very actively been
involved the activities of the Coalition. Starting with the report
on Copper in drinking water and Alzheimer's Disease
till the recent review on the issue Avian Influenza:
Is there a Risk to Water Supplies? Dr Sinclair has
been the pivot or queen pin of the majority of our activities
regarding the health risk of emerging substances. The scientific
quality of the reviews and reports produced over time is undisputable,
but moreover the content is crystal clear and easy assessable
to non-experts in the field. With these activities Martha's works
has significantly contributed to the recognition and credibility
of the GWRC within the water community.
